About The Blind Spot.
The Blind Spot Theatre is one of the many well-known facilities at the Institute for the Blind. The Blind Spot is a training and marketing facility where visitors to the Institute for the Blind can meet before embarking on an inspiring journey to meet our visually impaired residents and houses. Here are several attractions like the unique tactile fossil trail and geological exhibition, specially developed for blind people and the Blindiana Museum and Barista, where the past 130 years of caring for the blind in Worcester comes to life in the exhibitions, combined with our very own coffee shop.
The Blind Spot offers conference facilities for up to 50 people (30 conference style and 50 cinema style) within walking distance from accommodation facilities in central Worcester. The conference facilities are air-conditioned and include breakaway rooms. The latest technology like video / DVD, TV, data projector, sound equipment, fax and photocopying are available at extra cost. Free Wi-Fi available.
The venue is ideal for team building sessions, business meetings, conferences and seminars. Safe parking is available and all facilities are wheel-chair accessible. Tea, coffee and refreshments can be served on request.
